TIP FOR LOOKING AT A NEW AGENCY

Some of the things that make me scratch my head that potential new partners will say in the first call:

1. All the leads I've ever bought have been terrible
2. How good are your leads
3. Am I captive
4. My product doesn't compete price wise
5. The leads are bogus and people don't know or don't remember why I'm calling on them
My biggest annoying comment I could ever hear.....
6. WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME or WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER?

You get the point folks.  Those are ALL bad ways to start off on a call to a prospective opportunity.  I don't understand why agents seem to think they are interviewing us?  We are interviewing each other.  Plus, if you think that the leads are the reason for your failures, you should find a new career.  All leads can't all be bad leads.  You need to be trained better whether new or old in the business and check the ego(s) at the door.  Leads don't define one's success.

The last stretch

About a week left for strong selling. We are track to hit our numbers even for having a short month. The model is blowing up and sometimes I feel like "when is the bottom going to drop?" But I take it day by day and run that marathon to the successful finish line as fast as I can...every...single...day.

What the??? cont...Part 2

In my post, I never mentioned anyone particularly but got a response from someone that thought it was towards them.  Out of professionalism, I never post specifics.  That's just not what we do.  However, the poster said the persistency is atrocious.  Yes.  VERY TRUE!  But persistency has to do with the agent and not the company or how they sell.  That's one of the main problems with our industry.  The blame usually falls on others vs ourselves for poor results. 

If an agent is managed properly and taught properly, business always sticks.  It's the only way we know how to do business.  The poster also asked me to post our agency's persistency so "agents know the truth".  OK.  We are 76.9% as a group for 13th month.  Now, I've said this before and some respond stating that they are around 90 plus % and our #'s stink.  There is no long term agent or agency that can hold a 90 plus % in the FE business.  It just doesn't happen.

I hope I cleared some things up hear.  My only advice would be to give unbias advice and opinions.  Just because something doesn't work for one person, doesn't mean...it can't be done.  If that was the case...America would've never been built.  Much success!  Feel free to contact us if you or anyone else would care to discuss or just form open lines of communication.

What the???

I tripped upon Youtube tonight and found the most ridiculous video's not only about Final Expense but also FE by phone.  What was ridiculous is this.  THEY WERE BELIEVABLE!!!  What I'm talking about is this.  One guys did telesales and posted video's to recruit.  But then he is now on a mission to BLAST it.  IT CAN'T BE DONE!  So...because you can't do it, it can't be done?  Another video shows testimonials of agents with another big outfit talking about their "dreams coming true".  Yet, once I ran their license it shows they've been appointed with many other carriers since signing up with this one?  If it was so lucrative...what's the need for other carriers then?

I'm glad I'm not still searching because I would like a fish out of water.  I decided not to rely on others for my success because most are out to strip you to the bone!  Leave you for dead.  Do your homework.  Go with your gut.  If others' are doing...it CAN be done!

I CAN JUST DO IT BETTER AND SO CAN YOU!!!
