In my post, I never mentioned anyone particularly but got a response from someone that thought it was towards them. Out of professionalism, I never post specifics. That's just not what we do. However, the poster said the persistency is atrocious. Yes. VERY TRUE! But persistency has to do with the agent and not the company or how they sell. That's one of the main problems with our industry. The blame usually falls on others vs ourselves for poor results.
If an agent is managed properly and taught properly, business always sticks. It's the only way we know how to do business. The poster also asked me to post our agency's persistency so "agents know the truth". OK. We are 76.9% as a group for 13th month. Now, I've said this before and some respond stating that they are around 90 plus % and our #'s stink. There is no long term agent or agency that can hold a 90 plus % in the FE business. It just doesn't happen.
I hope I cleared some things up hear. My only advice would be to give unbias advice and opinions. Just because something doesn't work for one person, doesn't mean...it can't be done.
